***NOTE ON COST OF BRAZIL TRIPS REGARDING TICKET COST: The Brazil trip experience is budgeted at $3260. However, if your connection increases the amount of the ticket based on the Atlanta-Rio price, it will add to the total cost of the trip. Here is an example: the ticket from Atlanta to Rio is $970. Your connection from Jacksonville, FL causes the ticket to be $1250. The total cost of the trip is the difference of $280 which must be paid on top of the cost of the trip. Our experience has been that a connection to Atlanta lowers the price of the ticket, but due to the economy, it has increased in many cases. Please be aware that the falling of the dollar in Rio has been astronomical.
