4) We kindly request that you bring a love offering to support our Brazilian mission. If you decide to contribute, please bring your money in the form of cash (no checks, please). Because Brazilian bankers are picky about what money they accept, we ask you to bring only crisp, unmarked bills.

6) Remember to pack according to the season you will be there. Because it is below the Equator, Brazil's seasons are reversed from America's. In other words, when it is Summer in the US, it is Winter in Brazil; Fall in US, Spring in Brazil; Winter in US, Summer in Brazil; Spring in US, Fall in Brazil. To give you an idea of average climate during those seasons, it is typically in the 90s and 100s during Summer in Brazil, and it is typically in the 60s and 70s during Winter in Brazil.
