MY FLAME WAS REKINDLED
If you were there, you would agree. God was present. You can say that if you saw and experienced what I experienced in Athens, Georgia at the Rekindle the Flame Conference. What a wonderful experience to be renewed and recharged. Oh! God, thank you!
I have heard Terry Tekyl several times in the past. This time, his spirit was alive and weeping before God. When he spoke, you knew in your heart it came from God. Every time he brought Scriptures to us, the word convicted deeply within. I am looking forward to hear it again and again and again. If you did not buy a book from him, you missed something powerfull. All his materials on prayer are the greatest blessing a reader can receive.
John Hobbs left an impression in the minds of many. You probably never met him, but if you have a chance to meet him, you will never forget him. He has a scent of Jesus all over him. When he speaks, you want to join him. At times John Hobbs looks at you and you have an idea that he knows you from the inside out. His demeanor, his heart, his spirit blessed us here in Athens. Thank you John, for your word. It is recorded, so all of us will hear it again.
I attended Pre-Conference. Lord, it was good. Kay Harris ministered to our needs. She was at her best. I have heard Kay many times in the past. This time, she prepared a word to the weary. Kay has this tender, gentle way of getting to you and she got to most of those who attended our time of prayer. Pre-Conference was the best in the last 18 years. The stations of prayer encouraged us. Israel, personal needs, RBM, Thanksgiving, the Nations, the persecuted church and Worship at the throne did something for me. I knelt at these stations and prayed on and on. Thank you, Kay and Ben Harris
Our Conference Director was at her best. Linda Gardner left an impression on anyone who ever managed a conference. Every touch, every banner, every corner, every piece of paper, signs, tables, every committee, every detail had a Linda touch. In all my years of ministry I have never seen anyone work so hard for an event. Working with her was a joy. I just want to thank Charles Gardner for allowing Linda to fulfill her ministry with us. God really used her in all kinds of ways. When she talked about how many would come, she always would prophesy saying, 300. From now on, whatever she prophecies, it will happen. Hallelluia!
If God blessed you in this conference, you need to make a comment on this blog. I would like to hear from you about this. Faces I will not forget for a while: Janet Miller, Steve and Robin Odiorne, Crystal Payne!, Adam Livermon, Garry Livermon, Eric Sizemore, Ben Harris, Nikki Cook, Patricia Lacy, Jennette Boyd, Jerry Ziegler, Beverly Varnadoe, Joseph Tillman Jr.,Joseph Tillman Sr., Elizabeth Wiley and many others. These made an impression on me.
Well, tell us! What God did for you in Athens, at the REKINDLE THE FLAME CONFERENCE?

Thank you, Rick and Mary Lucy, for an unbelievable weekend. Praise be to Our King who showed up just in time to heal my friend, Joann Blessing, from Brunswick who had been walking head down in sickness for the last 3 years. Totally set free!! Praise God. She came home a changed woman.
Thanks to the speakers as well. God spoke through Kay Harris a word I desperately needed to hear. Thank you, Kay.
Blessings to you, Janet Miller

The Holy Spirit filled me even more than He already has, convicting me, making me weak in my knees with His undeniable presence. He re-reminded me of His awesomeness, and His longing for me to desire Him alone. He gave me a new heart for relationship with and compassion for the lost. He refreshed me. He reaffirmed the new joy He blessed me with this summer. He just does and does and does so much in and for me. This conference was yet another blessing. I got to see Him do a great work in my mom, too. He set her free to dance unashamedly in worship. He is so great.

My part was easy, Rick, …except for loading the truck, that is. Linda loves the Lord and the ministry. She’s a blessing in my life too.
I couldn’t come to RTF this year, but I knew it would be powerful. I’ll be there next year.

The presence of God that flowed so sweetly and powerfuly during worship was worth the trip, even if there had been no one speaking!

Within 10 minutes of stepping into the Pre-conference the Holy Spirit had filled me up and over flowing. I don’t think I have felt so much power before. The whole event was put together beautifully and praise be to God for Linda’s planning. I am so thankful for Rick and Mary Lucy’s ministry. It is an unbelievable experience to be in their presence. God has so richly blessed them. I am so renewed with my walk with Christ and the need to step out boldly. Praise be to God for He is good. I cannot wait to be able to listen to the CD’s of the messages again and again. God Bless You All who had anything to do with the putting together of the conference.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Truly the One we came to worship poured out His incredible Love to all who heard the summons to “Come.” Waves of glory are still pouring over me everytime my thoughts turn back to the conference. What an unspeakable gift Holy Spirit gave to us! Thank you, Rick, Mary Lucy, Linda, Brad and his wonderful worship team, Terry Tekyll, John Hobbs, Donna, the conference worship team,Linda Hood, Steve Odiorne, the sound and lighting crew, and most especially all those who just came to worship Jesus the One and Only. He was high and lifted up and drew us all to Himself–what a Savior! In His great grace and love–Kay Harris

Our flame was rekindled, praise God. Many thanks to all who worked so diligently to bring the conference to a higher level than had ever been. Thank you, Rick and Mary Lucy, for obeying God by giving so many people a chance to have a refilling and refreshing. May the word spread because of a new light in us, and next year bring new seekers to the conference. Blessings to your staff and ministry.

Thanks be to God He arranged for me to be free from professional commitments so I could attend RTF. God provided encouragement directly and through others. Rick, as always, your intercession at the altar helped lift me up to God. Thank you and Praise God for the work He does in you and is preparing me to do. This conference was the drink of living water this thirsty man needed! Praise be to our God the most high and precious creator, ruler and Lord!

As someone that is new to the RBM, I was shocked to the core! As the Holy Spirit raced through me and filled my body, I couldn’t control the love and emotions that filled my very soul. I came not knowing what to expect, and left wanting more. Thanks to modern day Levites like Steve Odiorne, who led me not only to a renewed relationship with Jesus but to RTF. Rick I look forward to worshiping with you again in Madison, FL.
