I AM GRATEFUL TO YOU TODAY!

I am blessed this Christmas with real friends who have become a strong part of this ministry. I never dreamed that so many would come and join me in bringing revival to so many places. After these last 35 years, I have seen so many fires of revival in Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia and places beyond.

This could not have happened without the support of many of you who have worked, prayed, shared and traveled with me to so many places. Our ministry is primarily in the US and South America, but lately we are beginning to preach in the middle East and God has opened doors for us. In 2011 we begin our  ministry in Turkey.

I want to thank you for trusting me with so much. The Lord has lifted me from rejection, bitterness and has filled my heart with joy and a desire to see the United Methodist Church come alive. Hundreds of United Methodists today support our ministry in Georgia!  Hallelluia!!

Our bills are paid here and in Brasil. There, we have a staff of over 10 who work at the Daniel Bonfim Mission.  Doctors and workers, under the leadership of Jorge Luiz Fiqueiredo, have blessed thousands throughout the years with food, medical care and the word. God is good!

I have seen hundreds of students head into full time ministry. I have seen broken down pastors filled with power from on high to carry on their ministry. I have seen salvation more this last year in Brasil and US then ever before.  I have seen hundreds of young people being discipled and blessed with the Word to serve God all their lives… I have seen the sick, the rejected, the broken, the lost come to Jesus in healing. Praise His Name!!!

Nothing could have been done without your support. Those of you in the AARON AND HUR US PROGRAM, THE AARON AND HUR GENERAL PROGRAM, THE AARON AND HUR BRAZIL PROGRAM, THE BETTY MCKINNEY AARON AND HUR PROGRAM, THE AARON AND HUR ROBERT ODIEORN PROGRAM AND THE AARON AND HUR RUEL  MCFARLAND PROGRAM HAVE BLESSED THIS MINISTRY IN MANY WAYS.

Thank you for believing in me. For believing in this ministry and for supporting us in so many.

On January 1st, I will be completing 51 years of full-time ministry. Mary Lucy and I want to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! HALLELLUIA!!!

LIVING IN CLOUDS OF GLORY

Elizabeth Wolfe used to say to me, “This is your earth and this is your heavens,” pointing to the middle of her waist and to  her head.  Earth is the middle and heaven is the head.

When I read the 14th chapter of Acts for the Metro Bible Study in Atlanta, I noticed that Paul lived in the heavens most of the time. The small cities in what is now  called Turkey:  Iconium, Lystra, Derbe, Atalia, were places in which a great battle took place in the heavenlies.

Paul and Barnabas spoke so effectively that a great number of Jews and Gentiles believed, but the opposition rose and came straight at them in full force. The result should have been to move on and shake the dust from their feet.   But Acts 14:3 says, “SO PAUL AND BARNABAS SPENT CONSIDERABLE TIME THERE, SPEAKING BOLDLY FOR THE LORD CONFIRMED THE MESSAGE OF HIS GRACE BY ENABLING THEM TO DO MORE MIRACULOUS SIGNS AND WONDERS.”

They plotted against Paul and Barnabas, but the apostles found out about the plot and left for the other cities, where they continued to preach the good news. Now, if someone is trying to kill you, the logical response should be to go away and hide? Right?  In fact,Paul and Barnabas worked better when there was resistance! God honored them when they stood.

See, you cannot win in this world if you live in your “earth”. You have to live in your “heavens”!

The miracle of a wonder, (the healing of a man that had never walked in his life), was the result of moving toward resistance. I want you to understand that the Holy Spirit loves a fight!   The Holy Spirit loves a tug war to the last minute!

After the miracle of the crippled man, the crowds tried to make gods of Paul and Barnabas. Not long after that, they stoned Paul and dragged him outside of the city, thinking he was dead. After the disciples came around him, he got up and went back into the city. YOU NEVER GIVE UP AGAINST RESISTANCE- YOU STAND SO GOD CAN STAND WITH YOU. NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER BACK DOWN, NEVER RUN. NEVER!

They preached the good news in the city and returned to Lystra. Why would the apostles (here is the first time Paul was called an Apostle) return to the place where the crowd plotted to kill both of them? Because the HOLY SPIRIT LIKES A WAR. HE NEVER RUNS AWAY. NEVER!

Your earth or your heavens are two areas where you can live your life. Choose your heavens. Paul did it. In these small cities, he appointed elders, formed churches and with fasting and prayer, they planted the Kingdom.

LIVE IN YOUR HEAVENS…..

A MIRACLE BEGINS WITH BROKENNESS

The shepherds outside the city of David, Bethlehem, were afraid of what they saw, an angel of  the Lord and all His glory. Honestly, anyone would be afraid to see what they saw. The angel said: “Do not be afraid… I bring good news of great joy, a Savior has been born to you.

A miracle thrives in brokenness. The more broken you are, the greater the miracle.  Those shepherds were broken men. Poor, broken and hungry. They were ready for something to happen in their lives.

For God to be involved in this miracle, there had to be an application, that is the miracle had to fit a need. The shepherds need was to meet a Savior. A Savior that would come to free them from poverty, hurt, pain and despair.

What  amazed me in this passage was that they went looking for a baby in a manger, which is not a place for babies.  The word says they…”hurried off” and found Joseph and Mary and the baby. Anyone in a hurry is on a mission. They must believe in the mission. They left to find the baby in a ” hurry”.

When they had seen Him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this Child. Any shepherd who believes the Word and begins to spread the Word is a miracle shepherd.

You need to stay low, humble before God, expecting a miracle from God. Sooner or later He will come with the answer you are looking for. Do not give up, or doubt the outcome. God has a plan. So here it is:

1- You that are unemployed, I call a job for you. I speak a company to employ you and bless your life.

2- You that have been expecting a spouse, I speak a miracle for you. A husband or wife in your life that will change things.

3-You that have a problem with your father and mother. Healing will come this year and bless all of you.

4- You that continues to strive for forgiveness. God will send an angel to bless you and bring forgiveness.

5-You that need a house. I pray a miracle in your life, where you will have the dream house of your life

6-You that are running tired and worn out of this life. God is sending His angel to strengthen you.

God wants you to have a miracle
