1- FEAR….perhaps, you want God to touch your life but you are afraid ON HOW HE IS GOING TO DO THIS.

2-The cost is not a factor. We charge $25 dollars a person for 3 days of ministry. However, the cost could be a factor as to total cost…..However, you know very well that the just live by faith and money should not be a problem.

We traveled from 1 in the afternoon to 10 at night, finally getting in this hotel close to the church… rested and got together for prayer… Ho! the Lord was about to do something supernatural….. I knew because we were praying early in the morning and the fire came into our room.

Boyd Byerly preaches as with fire in his body… over 1000 were present on Sunday morning. He began preaching on Psalm 67:1-2. “May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us……v.6…Then the land will yield its harvest, and God , our God will bless us…

They began to come forward in dozens. We could not contain then in the altar area. I got them to come to stage area, under the large ceiling, where the pulpits are. They came and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit came up0n them… hundreds received the Holy Spirit and were blessed by God.

On Sunday night, after Mike sung a solo, I had to began to do deliverance. Asking them to sing and to cough and to jump and to lift their hands and they did….after Pastor Boyd preach a sermon on “Resisting the Holy Spirit”,  heaven broke loose. A young lady, in her 30′s came forward with depression…. sadness and no hope. I heard the Lord say to me to give her a bath of water… I did…. she received it and screaming to Jesus, was delivered and set free. She cried as if someone had died.. yes…. depression died that night…. and the Lord saved her soul.

What a wonderful day when we can cry in the presence of God.. Have you cried in the presence of God??

This year, the RTF Conference will bring many people from all walks of life to Athens, Georgia.. Pastor Boyd will come and preach to us again. You cannot miss these three days. Ask Jesus to provide for you a small hotel or a friend to stay with and share the cost. The Lord will bless you with fire….believe me….this year there will be fire like you have never seen before….there will be crying and joy and peace and healing for those coming….

This is the beginning of the week here in Brasil.. we are now waiting on two churches… and then to Juiz de Fora for 3 days of ministry into another large Methodist church…. ARE YOU PRAYING FOR US…..??? GOD IS MOVING IN POWER…. MANY SAVED….HEALED…. DELIVERED…. A lady came with a serious illness.. she began to jump in front of me and the illness left her.. she knew it was gone… I knew too.

This is a week of miracles… God is doing the imp0ssible… the impossible.. I can feel it in my bones…fire ….fire…fire..

In this area over 400+ plus Methodist pastors are in need of revival. The power of the Holy Spirit will touch many this coming Sunday. I expect a 4 hour service on Sunday night where many will come to the knowledge of Jesus as savior.

The preacher is Boyd Byerly. If you have never heard him, you are missing something special. He is one of our speakers at the REKINDLE THE FLAME NATIONAL CONFERENCE.  I hope you will attend.

Two other churches we will attend in Rio and then one in Juiz de Fora, where a large Methodist congregation will host three nights of services, including Sunday morning.

Some nights, you are so tired that your body does not want to get up from the pulpit chair. Every bone hurts and you feel as if your night should have been spent in bed asleep. But the Lord had different plans. The pastor greeted us and explained to me that the area outside the small church which was enclosed with cement poles and covered about 40 feet above us would house the church in the future. The problem was everyone passing by me on their way into the church was so poor I began to ask Jesus how this vision could ever come to pass. Luis Carlos is a Methodist minister with faith and with a vision. I decided to preach on Ezekiel 37: “Can these dry bones live?”  Really, I was preaching to me.

The invitation for salvation produced at least 20 persons, but my heart was not with it. Some nights your body does not want to join the move of God. I asked the Lord to help me, but I did not hear anything. After the “prayer tunnel,” I saw not a single person moved by God. Dry tears, dry bones and dry presence.  I prophesied over everyone and nothing happened….dead silence and dead response.

Waiting for a miracle, I heard the words, “Go outside.” Even now after all these years my mind still questions at times. It was growing cold, babies all around, women without warm clothing.  But ”Go outside” came again. SO WE ALL WENT OUTSIDE THE WHOLE CHURCH into the area marked out for the church expansion.

I asked the pastor to give me anointing oil and told the church to come around me as close as they could. After anointing the ground of that place under that tall open cover,  the WIND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BEGAN TO BLOW. Over half of the church were visited by the Holy Spirit in a matter of 10 minutes. They were so loud, so many tears, so many screams, so many voices that my heart could not contain it. My tears came and my strength was renewed.

I looked at the ground around the feet of many and saw a young lady on the ground. It was Audra. She was crying so hard, laying in the dirt that my heart went out to her. Jesus healed Audra with his presence as she lay on the dirt floor and cried to Jesus. My God, thank You for healing Audra and healing me from tiredness. You know, seven mission  trips a year, revivals, prayer meetings, Israel, traveling, office work……Lord, my body needs renewal! HE HEALED AUDRA AND ME. Hallelluia!

Audra is the daughter of Myron Kirksey. It is a new day in her life.. God will finish it well.

We went to Itaborai Methodist Church where the wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing. Tonight a wind came of the size of Pentecost! The group formed into a prayer tunnel and the congregation began to come between us for prayer. As the praise music began you could feel the hand of God moving. You feel the desire to cry but you cannot. You feel the words coming out of your mouth but you have no control of them. You know something is happening and yet you simply are led to continue in 3 hours of prayer for people. Energy comes from heaven into your body and you speak as if you know what to say!

The words were words that found the truth in someone’s heart. “You have a man in your life who you hate and God wants you to forgive him…” Another woman was told, “You have been in witchcraft to other gods and demons and God wants you to be healed now…”   A man ready to commit suicide was told, “You lost all your money to your partner and today you want to end it all, but God will restore your business and He will save your life…” As the word of knowledge operated, every one of these persons began to say to me: ” YES , YES IT IS TRUE!

By the way the man who lost his business hugged the pastor and they stayed on the floor for 10 minutes talking and crying together.  A child with some type of Down’s syndrome got up from the mother’s arms and began to dance, I saw it! Myron saw it also. A young man of 19 years old from our group, Tyler Lemmonds began to pray and cry for others at the end of the prayer tunnel.  The Holy Spirit was moving through him like 22o volts and everyone he prayed for in the line came under the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

It is 6:17 am in Brazil and I went to bed at midnight. I could not sleep much! My heart is rejoicing and my eyes are full of tears. Could it be that heaven is like this? Could be that heaven is coming down to us?

When we got to the mission our hearts were glad. We have a  group here with many difficult needs, but we already have had three miracles in this group.  God is going to heal them and restore them.  One that God is touching powerfully already is Allison Burnette. She is crying so much that rivers are coming out during our Bible studies. Have you ever seen a 19-year-old who cannot stop crying under the presence of God? Her dad was saved here two years ago, and God is doing a work in the whole family.  Hallelujah!

A HEAVY WIND BLOWING IN RIO DE JANEIRO…..

Brazil at this moment is the warmest place on earth with the presence of God. As the service started, it started with communion. I thought most services of communion begins with praise and worship! They begin with communion. You begin to wonder….” these folks have no understanding of liturgy!” Communion before praise? Yes, communion is more important than the word! They want to receive forgiveness for their lives.. They want their sins to be dealt with before anything else.

1#- GATES OF HEAVEN COMES DOWN WHEN YOU DO WHAT IS NEEDED NOT WHAT ORDER DICTATES!!

Since liturgy order was not important, I decided to let our group sing. You know, Heritage  UMC in Van Buren is in revival. Hundreds come to worship. Pastor Wes Hillard is an anointed man of God. So, his altar team came to Brazil and began to sing. My goodness! Jumping, shouting, singing Methodists!!! The result was folks began to come to be prayed for.

Over a couple hundred went under a tunnel of prayer. I saw a woman in her 70′s crying to Jesus in a loud voice, “Heal me Lord, heal me Lord, heal me Lord!” You will never see this again….anywhere with so much fervor!! It reminded me of Bartimaeus….. “JESUS SON OF DAVID, HAVE MERCY ON ME!!!!!!!!!!”

#2- GATES OF HEAVEN COME DOWN WHEN YOU CRY TO JESUS WITHOUT WORRYING WHAT OTHERS THINK!!!!

This started in our revivals in Virginia, and Crossville, Tennessee where people were crying to God at the altar rail! This evening in Brasil, the wife of the pastor came for prayer. Her eyes were broken by the condemnation of many toward her and her husband.  What do you do when the pastor and his wife kneel before you and ask for prayer in the middle of all that noise? The ladies from Van Buren began to pray for them….HEAVEN CAME DOWN AND GOD HEALED THEM INSTANTLY!!! Yes, in a second the Holy Spirit had them on the floor.. large church 2000 members.. preacher on the floor with his wife getting blessed!!!!

#3- GATES OF HEAVEN COME DOWN WHEN YOU  RESPECT NO MAN…. PRAY FOR THE SAINTS WITHOUT ASKING WHO THEY ARE!!!!! PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!!!

This was our third church…..gates of heaven are coming down upon us here!! Many salvations, healing… my spirit is revived already… most of our team is fasting….3 hours of prayer daily..!!!! YOU NEED TO COME TO ATHENS ON AUGUST 12-13-14- ATHENS CIVIC CENTER!!! GATES ARE HEAVEN ARE GOING TO BE THERE!!!

Jonah was able to hear and understand. God told him to go to Nineveh and he disobeyed, but finally he went, even though Jonah struggled with his pride! If God wanted to change His mind about Nineveh and not destroy it  after they prayed to God and repented, it was not Jonah’s business to interfere with God. But he did interfere with God!

 Jonah did not have any mental illness. He simply was a proud man who thought he could have his way in serving God. But he repented. He wrote the book didn’t he?  How about you?

Pride is a spiritual illness. It is not physical, it is spiritual. You will not hear anyone, you will not follow anyone and cannot understand that some of us are committed to serve God through a ministry and that is how we are being used to bear fruit through that ministry. We are serving God through that ministry.

Throughout the years, God has sent us workers and they have served God with us in a powerful way. Thousands of lives have been saved through the work of someone working under under the authority of a ministry.  But Jonah wanted to serve God his way.

I do not know where you are in your walk with God. I ask you please: DO NOT PLAY GAMES. IF YOU ARE GOING TO SERVE, SERVE. IF YOU ARE GOING TO COMMIT TO HIM, COMMIT TO HIM. SERVE HIM WITH DISTINCTION.

By the way. You might have to obey your superior in that ministry. Obey as unto the Lord. That does not mean you are being manipulated. You are serving God. DO NOT BE A JONAH IN HIS DISOBEDIENCE.

I have studied confirmation and had visual confirmation that those things in her house were quenching the presence of God. She has been feeling sick lately and when she goes to her house, she does not feel well. Removing that object will bless her. I guess you have to have courage to say things like that to people.

When Simeon waited for the consolation of Israel he saw this couple with a baby. Simeon took the baby in his arms and praised God and said: “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people.”

HOW DID SIMEON KNEW THAT THE BABY IN FRONT OF  HIM WAS JESUS? …by the Spirit.. See, the Holy Spirit was upon Him. It has been told him that he would not die until he saw Jesus, the Lord.

The Holy Spirit does things like that. He will prompt you to say things you would never say in the first place. You will do things you would never do in all your life.. The question here is this: WHAT DO YOU DO TO ACTIVATE THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR LIFE TO BEGIN HEARING THINGS LIKE THIS?

The answer is this: ” WHAT DO YOU NOT DO TO QUENCH THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOUR LIFE IN ORDER TO HEAR THINGS LIKE THAT.”

HERE ARE SOME COMMENTS FROM MY HEART

1- NEVER CALL ANYONE CHARISMATIC. IT IS A PUT DOWN ON THE HOLY SPIRIT. HE DOES NOT MAKE YOU SOMETHING. HE IS SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFE. HONOR THE HOLY SPIRIT

2-NEVER REJECT ANYONE WITH GIFTS… YES, I KNOW SOME THINK HAVING A GIFT IS A BIG THING.. WELL, LEARN FROM THE HUMBLE ONES. BUT BE CAREFUL NOT TO THROW THE BABY OUT WITH THE WATER. YOU WILL MEET PEOPLE WHO ARE GIFTED OF GOD.. RECOGNIZED THEIR GIFTS.

3-DO NOT THINK OF YOURSELF TOO HIGHLY.. REMEMBER YOU MUST DECREASE SO HE CAN INCREASE…DO YOUR BEST NOT  TO APPEAR TOO PRIDEFUL… LAY LOW AND SERVE…

4-IF THE GIFTS ARE NOT FOR YOU….LET OTHERS MOVE IN THEIR GIFTS AND BLESS THEM

From 25 people in the inner circle, including the disciples, the Jerusalem group grew to 120. After Pentecost, 3000 souls were touched. ” Those who accepted the message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their numbers.”  Acts 2:41.

That makes to 3120 souls. After the miracle at the gate called beautiful, where the cripple man walked and praise God inside of the temple, Acts 4:4 says: ” But many who heard the message believed, and the numbers of  the men grew to about five thousand.” This was an increase of over 2000, without counting the women.

What could save so fast? What could change lives so fast? The power of the Gospel of Jesus.

After so many years travelling, preaching, praying hours on end, I am convinced that the power of the Gospel is the greatest thing in the face of the earth. Now, you would ask me about Acts 1:8, which says” But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

How do you respond to that? I respond this way:  YOU RECEIVE POWER TO BE A WITNESS, NOTHING ELSE.

Rejection causes you to become psychologically unbalanced, so your  words reflect pain instead of communicating with others in openness and genuine fellowship. Rejection by others in life changes your personality. You become a reflection of your own pain.

It is difficult to minister to someone in this state of mind. In the worst cases, some of them become psychotic which is a behavior change producing the following: The person cannot work in groups, teamwork is out of the question. They cannot accept others as they are since they do not fit their rigid mold, which is the only thing “safe” to them. They become secluded, creating a “world” that is self-created and does not relate to reality.  A psychotic person will not obey, will not produce. This person will not submit  to anyone.

When someone is deeply hurt by  family or others, they tend to make spiritual decisions that are wrong, interpreting scripture in a way that causes them much pain.  What must we do here?

First, you must choose your boundaries. Mental healing requires boundaries. Never hurry to implement healing without allowing God to take the next step. The Holy Spirit heals the mind. You have to believe this. A combination of prayer and medication might be required. A positive attitude toward this person is necessary and will bring healing in time.  So, here are the rules:

1- Remember that you are the sane person. Never allow the distorted thinking of the ill one to affect you.

2-Take it to the Lord daily and pray for that person with accuracy.

3-Never allow that person to manipulate or control your direction. They will try but do not give in.

4-Bring doctors and others in to help if necessary.

5-Remember that this person is God’s property and God cares for them in a very special way. Do not overstate your authority. Bring order but never overstate authority. You are not God.

6-Pray, pray and pray for this person and use every exchange to bring joy, peace and blessings into their lives. You should never punish a mentally ill person. It is counter-productive and unfair. You should correct and show kindness. Remember that healing is on its way.
