Calling & Purpose

Over 40 years ago at the age of 14, Rick Bonfim was ordained and appointed to his first church in Brazil. That was the beginning of Rick Bonfim Ministries…In Ephesians 4:11, 12. Paul defines an evangelist as a person called by God to serve. “And He gave some Evangelists…For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of faith and the knowledge of the Son of God…

Our task is to support the local pastors and to uplift the body of Christ through our gifts of ministry. Thus, our main purpose is to edify, build, and comfort the body of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Year after year, Rick speaks in churches and conferences in both the USA and Brazil. Besides conducting multi-church events, Rick Bonfim Ministries (RBM) sponsors several conferences throughout the year. A multi-faceted Mission Program, Internship Program, and Seminars are the vehicles used to achieve our purpose. Besides our ministry in the United States, RBM manages a full-time mission post in Niteroi, Brazil. Seven to nine mission trips are scheduled throughout the year providing training in the following areas: Evangelism, Healing, Prayer, Discipling and Deliverance.
